The SIG SAUER MCX platform has long been the breeding ground for developing the best rifle system in the world through extensive testing, continued innovation and customer feedback. The MCX-SPEAR LT is a rugged and light weight rifle incorporating many upgrades from its predecessor the MCX Virtus. This new version has fewer screws on its handguard allowing improved cooling while still offering enhanced rigidity to help prevent barrel flexing and accuracy loss. As with all of the Sig Sauer modern sporting rifles, the trigger is standard AR15 style 3-hole with conventional hammer design allowing it to be compatible with virtually any aftermarket trigger. The ambidextrous bolt catch/release is located on both sides of this rifle making it extremely flexible in operation and ergonomics giving users multiple options on usage or configuration.
The SIG MCX-SPEAR LT is the latest in AR15 style modular rifles with a lightweight handguard for increased modularity, ambidextrous bolt release and a very thin profile barrel that reduces length and weight. This rifle has coyote paint finish for an aggressive look and can be adapted for special operations with standard magazine well adapters available. Achieve true performance with this rifle in the field.
The Sig Sauer MCX-SPEAR LT is built on the legendary Sig MCX platform, a true game-changer in the firearm industry. The MCX-SPEAR LT features a lightweight and aggressive milled handguard, an adjustable gas block, a shorter overall length with a minimal profile barrel and ambidextrous bolt catch/release.
